A time I did something brave

A time I did something brave
A time I did something brave was the 13th and 14th of December when I had my first dance fit concert. I had 3 songs to perform and I had only joined in term 3 and the concerts are only term 2 and 4. The night before the concert I was so scared because one of my biggest fears is embarrassing myself and I did not want to fall over. But after I performed that night I felt a bit better about the next night but i was still terrified. Then at the end of each concert they have a prize giving and surprisingly i received an award for most potential and I don't think I dance very well but it boosted my confidence. So I guess at the same time I also overcame my fear of performing but that doesn't mean i'm completely not afraid of it.

10 foods I would take on an ocean voyage

10 foods I would take on an ocean voyage
1. Fresh produce because it will probably stay fresh and it will supply you with vitamin c
2. Dry cereal but you can't just take it in the bag you must put the cereal in a sealed container so they don't go stale
3.Water because you just need water or you will be dehydrated
4. Powdered milk because it has lots of nutrients and it is more ideal to take than normal milk if you want/need milk
5. Bread because it doesn't need to be in a fridge
6. Butter it lasts okay in the cupboard
7.Canned fruit because it doesn't go off
8. Snack foods like muesli bars for energy
9. Lollies because they are available for when you need a sugar rush
10. Peanut butter for a good source of protein

Speeches 2019

This is my speech for 2019. This will be my last speech at primary school and I am still yet to say it in front of my class. It is a comedy, informative speech about how to write and produce a speech. Wish me luck!
Update: Recently after I had said my speech my teacher talked to my friend and I and said that she couldn't decide who to put through to the finals so we had to re-say our speeches! I was shocked and what made me even more nervous was that we had to do it right at that moment. After we said our speeches AGAIN we were told who was put through to the finals and surprisingly it was me!
A few weeks after that it was speech FINALS! Words couldn't explain how nervous I was. When it came to announcing the places after everyone had said their speeches and all I could do was cross my fingers. It came to the year 6s and I had already thought it over and I didn't I would get placed. But then I came Second! When I heard my name I made a really embarrassing shocked face and when I received my certificate my teacher asked "Why were you so shocked." When I heard the first place winner I was really happy because it was my friend who had a really amazing speech. This year was probably my best speeches yet.

My Pepeha

 This is my pepeha.
Click the sound thing to hear my audio.
I found it hard to insert the audio on to my slide and have it play my pepeha.
I found it easy to say my pepeha so that it was clear and easy to recognize the words.
Next time I should try to sound more enthusiastic in my audio because I sounded really sad.

I found it easy to colour the shapes.
Next time I should try to get a better photo and spend more time on the polyline so that it would look better.

Animation

We were working on animations today and how to make a good blog. It wasn't very easy to make the slides but I finished in the end.
I found it hard to make all the slides in the amount of time I was given.
I found it easy find a photo and move it on each slide.
Next time I should try to get a better photo and spend more time on the animation so that it would look better and run more smoothly.
This is my animation.

MASCOT VIDEO

Click this - Mascot Video
This year we decided we would have a small competition to make a mascot for our class on google drawings. The best one would be our class mascot and maybe even be made into a soft toy. This link will take you to the video that describes to you what me, Savanah and Taina made.
