A time I did something brave

A time I did something brave
A time I did something brave was the 13th and 14th of December when I had my first dance fit concert. I had 3 songs to perform and I had only joined in term 3 and the concerts are only term 2 and 4. The night before the concert I was so scared because one of my biggest fears is embarrassing myself and I did not want to fall over. But after I performed that night I felt a bit better about the next night but i was still terrified. Then at the end of each concert they have a prize giving and surprisingly i received an award for most potential and I don't think I dance very well but it boosted my confidence. So I guess at the same time I also overcame my fear of performing but that doesn't mean i'm completely not afraid of it.

This is Charlotte from the Summer Learning Journey program. It is so cool to see that you are already participating in our Summer Learning Journey!

Your post was very inspiring, it was very brave of you to overcome your fear and dance on stage. Overcoming your fears is a very hard thing to do, and this must’ve been especially hard you since you have not been dancing for very long. It sounds like you did a great job in the concert and I am proud that you got an award!
Good job on pushing past your fears. It is normal to not be completely over your fear, but now you know for next time, you can do it!

Although your post is great! Could you include a photo? I think that it would be a great way to help your readers connect with your text.
